  • July 3, 2012

    Opera Extension Released

    • Thanks to Pedro for spending the time to make an Opera Add-on equivalent to the existing Chrome Extension. Both are using the Steam Regional Prices API.

  • June 24, 2012 - Major Update →

    Server Side (Applies to Extension and Website)

    • Added regional support for Russia.
    • Added currency conversion to rubles.
    • Updates website css & extension options to include new region.
    • Various updates to website copy.
    • Redeveloped server App in preparation for an upcoming public API.

    Chrome Extension (v2.0.0)

    • Chrome Extension is now at Version 2.0.0 and requires an update to continue to work.
    • Extension now autoloads by default. Can be switched off in the options page.
    • Minor optimisations
    • Simplified the design of the price box and made it slightly smaller
    Thanks to Антоха for letting me know I displayed Russian currency wrong. It is fixed on the website and will be fixed in the next update for the extension.

  • September 27, 2011 - Major Update →

    Chrome Extension (v1.1.0)

    • Added support for regionalised pricing so you can choose the currency - exhange rates currently update every 12 hours
    • Added ability to autocheck regional prices on page load (applies to store.steampowered.com/app/xxxxxx)
    • Added an options page (more to come)
    • Styling fixes for the extension popup
    • Limited the extension to only work on store.steampowered and on steamregionalprices.com for better security/privacy

    Website

    • A bucket load of copy changes and styling updates
    • Added a favicon (finally)
    • The homepage will now only show games that are priced at more than $0 - because its kinda pointless otherwise

    • Fixed a big that caused some games prices to show >10 numbers

    Server Side (Applies to Extension and Website - no update required)

    • Removed all the weird characters that were showing up in some game titles. (Will be applied next time a game is updated)
    • Fixed a couple of strange image thingys. Technical, too technical. Not really, but whatever.

    Chrome Extension (v1.0.2)

    • Modified the context menu to only show the Steam ARPC option when either currently on a Steam URL, or on a hyperlinked Steam URL.
    • Corrected issue with some games not providing any results
